Marcia founded MFP LAW LLC to assist individuals and small business owners with their legal issues. Marcia is originally from Albee township in Saginaw County Michigan. She grew up with two sisters on a small farm run by her parents. Through her upbringing, she learned a lot about hard work and entrepreneurship from a young age. She graduated from Chesaning High School in 2007 and University of Michigan School of Art and Design (now Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design) in 2011 obtaining her Bachelor of Fine Art degree.

After graduating from Art school during a recession, Marcia chose to pursue a career in law in order to pursue her love for reading, writing, and helping others. Marcia has now been working in the legal industry for over a decade.  She began her career in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from The John Marshall Law School (now University of Illinois Chicago School of Law) in 2017 obtaining her Juris Doctor degree and Illinois license. Thereafter, Marcia moved to Valparaiso, Indiana with her husband and obtained her Indiana license in 2020. 

During her law school career, she was President of the Corporate Law Association, she competed nationally on teams with the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Program, she was a teaching assistant for Contracts and Torts and she enrolled in multiple legal clinics, including the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, the Business Enterprise Law Clinic, and the Fair Housing Support Center and Clinic.

Marcia serves as a coach for University of Illinois Chicago School of Law's Trial Advocacy Dispute Resolution Program, coaching teams of law students that compete nationally each spring and fall in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration competitions.

Marcia's law practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation and transactional law. She represents and defends individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, and not-for-profit corporations in a variety of commercial and employment disputes including partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, member disputes, and contract disputes. Additionally, she advises clients on transactional matters including contract creation, review, and negotiation, real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, donations, corporate governance, municipal governance, policy formation, and various compliance issues. 

Marcia also serves as Of Counsel to Airdo Werwas LLC a civil defense and business litigation law firm located in Chicago, Illinois.

Marcia enjoys spending time with her husband, twin daughters, and family in Michigan. She enjoys snowboarding in the winter and golfing and going to the beach in the summer. Marcia is an animal lover and has two English labs and a cat. She recently wrote and illustrated a children's book called The Gifts of Christmas inspired by her family that will be published later this year.
